Rīgas Modes – Everybody Hurts

The new song is titled “Everybody Hurts.” Although it shares the same name as R.E.M.’s 1992 hit, it is not directly related. Rīgas modes describes their new single as an ode to the late-’80s Madchester movement, when indie music in northern England was fused with the emerging rhythms of house and other dance music genres.

A music video has been created for the single, directed by Dree, with contributions from Andrejs Skurjats, Didzis Starastins, and Mikus Svikulis. The band extends special thanks to the Latvian Academy of Culture.

Rīgas modes will perform this new track, along with other fresh songs and timeless hits, at their biggest solo concert to date, set to take place on April 25 at Palladium concert hall.
